Pascal has always had loads of heart. Not sure what Kovalev is talking about.

I think Kovalev decided he didn't like Pascal and he didn't want to give him any credit in the post fight interview. It was a clinical performance.

I think he meant that Pascal is heartless = merciless or sometimes relentless. that's why he mentioned first that Pascal is a wild man.

I think he meant what he said. Pascal was basically trying to be a snake and sneak Haymakers. It's what he was reduced to. I give him props but understand why Kovalev feels that way. He didn't come to box or fight. He came to basically steal a win.

I was pretty impressed with Pascal. I thought Kovalev was going to smash him. Pascal hit him with some great shots and one particular to the body really hurt Kovalev. I must admit there were a few moments that I thought the fight was really slipping away from Kovalev. All in all I still thought it was a pretty decent stoppage. Pascal call could barely walk!

i think something got lost in translation too because the sentence doesn't make sense otherwise. i think he meant to say that he has heart. i was there to support Pascal although i wasn't surprise by the outcome . it was pretty intense to hear the crowd every time Pascal had a moment. I think he showed a lot of heart and definitely didn't want to lose face in front of his fans. I think the stoppage was a blessing to save his dignity because kovalev would have send him to sleep a couple seconds later.

Fans want to see respect after a fight, but sometimes the fighters just don't feel that way.

Thats what I like about this dude. Has no intention of leaving it to the judges, nor playing it safe. Just wants to go in there, and destroy.
