I thought Bernard Hopkins was brilliant on the mic

and this is coming from a guy who hates BHOP. He needs to take ROIDS JR job permanently.

He doesn't hog the mic and talk gibberish. He gets his point across short and simple. ROID constantly will scream "OHHHHHHHH" after every good punch. BHOP would calmly let you know what's going on without acting like a fanboy.

roy doesnt act like a fan boy he is, and he loves to inject himself into the conversation.

Actually I didn't think he spoke as much until Lampley asked questions. He didn't seem overly anxious to speak. And that's no knock he just didn't seem to be that talkative.

He's alright. Sometimes fumbling over words and just repeating himself. Sometimes too quiet too. Tarver is still the goat

this is a good thing. he's not a color commentator. he will get better over time but his knowledge of the sport and his ability to see what's going on in the ring is superior than roid.

i can not stand how roy will hog the mic speaking like a thug. you do not need to scream OHHHH after every good punch.

Who I really didn't like commentating was George Foreman. For a person who spent as many years as he did fighting in the ring he spoke as though he never scrapped.

I've heard Hopkins a couple times now and always enjoyed him.

I like RJJ on the commentary team and I like paulie and although Ward annoys me as a fighter, he's pretty good too.

But the best is still John Rawling...I think that's his name, the guy commentating on sky last night. He's a proper commentator.
