Easy to say that but when you have no power to keep Cotto off of you then it is a different story. I see Cotto abusing Paulie like he abused Branco.

Nobody has ever, and nobody will run from Cotto. He's in my best estimation....the best stalker in boxing.
Trouble for Cotto will always be that powdered-up chin of his, which is ready for guys with good skills and decent power. Can't you then give that "chance" to Pauly Mag, despite Cotto's "stalker" status?

calzaghe was also worldclass, malignaggi IS NOT! And everyone knew it was going to be the toughest test of Lacy's career. If Malignaggi couldn't stop Camarena from pressing him non-stop you think he's going to be able to stop Cotto from pressuring him?

Cotto by far is not a Lacy.

Cotto cuts the ring very well. Thas all i have to say. Besides Calzaghe is a world class fighter. Just like mic-nificent said. Paulie is not. Paulie by far does'nt have the power to keep Cotto away.

If you read my post that followed that one...you would notice I stated exactly how I think Malignaggi could win.

And it would be by exploiting that exact weakness.

Punching off the back foot and moving away from Cotto is not going to get it done. He needs to let his hands go from in close and punch through the target.

Something Malignaggi has never done as a professional fighter.

                    Malignaggi punches at the target.

Cotto punches at the target two feet behind his opponent.

First of all there is no myth. People such as myself who are logical, know that Cotto is only human and we can realistically predict a suitable outcome. I think he can beat Hatton and I can definately see him beating Malignaggi. Even Mayweather was quoted as saying that he see's Cotto KOing Hatton. I don't see Cotto beating the likes of a Mayweather or Castillo but those would be some awesome fights. No doubt about it!
