  • Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola Eyes Return on Chavez-Fonfara Card

Chris Arreola (36-4, 31KOs) by his own account put on a subpar performance Friday night in his unanimous decision victory over Curtis Harper. Arreola dropped Harper in the first round but injured his right elbow shortly after which caused him to use his right hand sporadically through the rest of the fight and turned a one-sided fight into a highly entertaining contest in the process.

The heavyweight contender took a lot of punishment from the second round on as he was unable to put away his journeyman opponent. He said that he wasn't satisfied with his performance and that he will get right back in the gym.

He won't get in better shape, been saying he would since like 2007 and even in shape for him he still looks like a lardo but he is fun to watch.

Chris looked terrible and gassed in no time , looks like a vulnerable stepping stone.

Chris Aarreolas training: wake UP AT 10AM , do one situp to get up out of bed, jog to the kitchen table to eat morning breafast of 10 burritos

Jog back to the bedroom to take a nap.
Get at noon and jog half a block to the local burger joint , get two milkshakes 2 large fries and 4 cheese burgers with everything on it.
Jog back , go into the gym and sit on a stool for 20 minutes to rest( really out of breath now)

Hit the heavy bag for thiry seconds , then time for a corrona( or four) break.
spend fifteen minutes texting buddies , now time for another nap.

I think Chris injured that elbow years ago by lifting too many burgers and tacos to his pie hole.

no point he won the fight. He also hurt his elbow in the 3rd round. 262 is less then I thought he would be after a long layoff following elbow surgery. he only needs to shed 15lbs in my opinion. 245-250 I think he is at his best...
