Based on tonight i'd pick stevenson. He seemed to struggle a bit when pascall was the one applying the pressure imo

I think he stops Adonis right now. And he would do so easily because adios would come for him head on.

Seriously? You think last night was some kind of statement that Stevenson's got no chance? Come on, dude. Stevenson is also one of the biggest hitters in the sport and Pascal found him just fine. Why couldn't Stevenson? 50/50 far as I'm concerned. Stevenson is a much bigger hitter and a better technician too.

He's very predictable. But he could still hurt Kovalev.

Most likely Kovalev knocks him out though. He would have to hit a home run early to win.

I think there is a good chance Stevenson walks him on to something in the first 4 rounds, and I would be surprised if Kovalev was able to handle a flush shot, but what makes this fight great is that it could happen the other way. Kovalev for me doesn't have as much natural talent, but he brings more to the ring with what he has, he has a better mental attitude. He has the mentality to become a great champion, not just an ordinary one, and that can take you further than talent. The longer the fight goes the more it starts going in the direction of Kovalev, you have to bet on him because he can win the fight in a few different ways, where as Stevenson will only win by countering and making Kovalev pay.

I think Kovalev takes him out between 4-7, but as I said in the beginning - I am not that confident because I feel in some ways Kovalev is taylor made to walk into Stevenson's power. This fight reminds me a little bit of Pavlik-Taylor.

i am 100% confident that kovalev will outbox stevenson for a few rounds before accidentally knocking him out with a jab or soft cross. he will have no trouble at all. never mind power, kovalev is too clever for stevenson

I think both are big punchers that can hurt the other guy, I like Kovalev a bit more as a boxer but he runs into the same issues all big punchers who are out to hurt guys are. When Pascal came storming back the look on Kovalev's face was "a wtf " look, now he was able to pull through and that may be better for him long run but it was his big eraser that ended up getting Pascal before he could get got.

I still think that is a good fight, and somebody is getting hurt if they fight most likely Stevenson but I do think it is a lot closer than people make out.
