Pascal vs King Kovalev: Do you agree with the stoppage?

I just watched the fight again a second ago and it was a sound quality stoppage. If it weren't for the ropes Pascal would have been in the front row. He literally could not control his legs anymore. DAMN that ***** was hurt bad.

At first ,I thought it was a little premature, but now that I've rewatched the fight I think Pabon did Pascal a favour. Another right hand from Kovalev would've probably knocked him out cold.

Good fight nonetheless.

I came to this conclusion when I rewatched it too. I still wanted to see Pascal taste the canvas, but it would've probably taken too many shots to do that. He was already out on his feet.

It's scary, it reminded me of the Cleverly fight, his eyes were dazed, he looked and felt woozy.

to answer the question it wasnt a terrible stoppage, but i would have let it continue for sure. similar to the berto-lopez stoppage earlier in the week. considering how pascal handles adversity i would say this was a bit worse.

Pascal was staggered for sure but he came back from a terrible beating in round 3 and shook Kov later in the fight.

Bottom line the ref got excited and ended it way way too soon. Pascal earned the benefit of the doubt.

how did he earn the benefit of the doubt? By doing the booty dew?

Good stoppage... Pascal could have taken even more damage and could have been seriously hurt..

If the ref didn't stop it, that would have been fine, as pascal had comeback before, but I'm fine with the ref siding on the cautious side...
