Given Lopez history that stoppage was a bit premature. I could see if Lopez was behind on the cards but he wasn't. One thing I did notice about Lopez is as usual he seemed to be over exerting himself in the early rds throwed a lot of punches but few with any real authority....so it didn't come as a surprise when Berto finally clipped em...

terrible stoppage left a sour taste in my mouth to end this night of boxing. they let that heavyweight stumble around the ring all night in the 2nd fight but josesito goes down on the 2nd KD and immediately tries to get up and they stop it. absolutely terrible. berto was barely turning the fight around. it didn't seem like lopez was badly hurt to warrant waving it off without even giving a count. that ref was in haymon's pocket.

Lopez was obviously hurt but he should have been given a chance! He was winning the fight got caught deserved the opportunity to get up and fight back. Ref acted too fast imo.

but I will say great action tonight! Porter took care of business. Arreola was so out of shape it was ridiculous...

Overall a great show. Hope it did well.with the ratings. That is how NBC card should have went. 3 action packed fights.

Horrible way to stop a fight. Lopez was not finished and the intervention of the referee will bring su****ions on whether or not Al Haymon had something to do in this unfortunate ending.
