Kovalevs fans are so dumb and annoying....I'm almost hoping Pascal knocks his ass out just to shut up these morons....Kovalev's best win is a 50 year old Hopkins....Before that he fought Cedric Agnew and Blake Capparello...He's good for sure, but he needs to accomplish ALOT more before he is this hyped up...

That's what I mean. Kovalev called him out and Stevenson went silent. He's praying for an upset tomorrow but I'm sure he and Al have excuses ready why he's dropping the belt instead of fighting Kovalev.

He certainly tried in the last minute and a half of the fight. Had Kovalev stepped on the gas a couple of rounds earlier he might have been able to pull it off. Hopkins didn't have much left after those last barrages.

If we are all honest with ourselves we know Hopkins could be 90 years old and still be too crafty, skilled and wily to avoid getting knocked out. RJJS was world class but once he slowed his weak chin was exposed and he couldn't dodge the punches. Hop still has a world class defense even if he can't pull the trigger anymore.

I don't think Kovalev tried that hard to KO Hopkins. I think he had great respect for the legendary Hopkins was content to get the win but didn't want to humiliate Hopkins with a KO loss. I am going with the triangle theory that Hopkins beat Pascal and Kovalev beat Hopkins so Kovalev will beat Pascal. Pascal leaps in with wild punches and that will get you knocked out by Kovalev.

I mean, does anyone really think Kovalev tried other than the 12th? Anyone who has watched him before should have noticed he was content to put in rounds until Hopkins stuck his tongue out in the final round, then Sergey nearly killed the guy.

I guess both Hopkins and Kovalev agreed to box in that fight (after Kovalev floored Hopkins in the 1st, Kovalev even looked as if he was sorry -- at the end of the round)... But, sure, Hopkins sticking his tongue out in the 12th made Kovalev a bit nervous...
