Comments Thread For: Josesito Lopez: I Will Do Anything To Beat Andre Berto

Welterweight Josesito Lopez has had himself quite a career thus far.

He’s making at least six-figure purses, is known for beating Victor Ortiz in a slugfest a few years ago, and is affectionately known as ‘The Riverside Rocky.’

At the age of 30, Lopez is enjoying the fruits of his labor, in and out of the ring.

But the success he has enjoyed in recent years almost did not happen. Lopez almost gave up on the sport of boxing years ago. He came to the realization though that he would be giving up more on himself than on boxing.

It looks like he has made the right decision to come back.

Lopez has upset the apple cart before and always comes to fight.

      A crossroad for both fighters.

a young berto was a beast, but hit started in fighting for belts another story.fighting through an injury is tough but no excuses now. he says he is healthy and coming to win. lopez is tough sob, lots of heart and took some fights that he shouldnt have been in. canelo one, maidana the other. lopez has the skills and power to keep anyone honest. i dont berto has enough of a work rate to overwhelm lopez. i think lopez battles and makes it a tough fight. i give him the split nod. just cause i like the guys heart and will.

I think so too!!! Lopez can crack and Berto is too careless defensively.
