Miguel Cotto was coming off a brutal beating from Marg and he was also clearly drained on fight night. Ricky Hatton was just not the same after Floyd knocked him out. Oscar De La Hoya was just not healthy on fight night and was completely washed up. Antonio Margarito was coming off a serious KO loss to Shane Mosley etc i mean i could go and on but you get the point.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is NOT GOING to be weight drained and HE HAS NOT taken serious damage in his last fights. I DO GIVE PROPS to Manny for challenging himself though.
It's Pacquiao in beast mode, doe. Pac fans look past that 'cause Pac "beat them better than Floyd did. Nah, nah, nah."

Mayweather is set to fight Pacquiao so why can't he just shutup and train. All his talk won't bother Pacquiao or help Mayweather win. He can't get in to Pacquiao's head. Pacquiao is immune to those head games. If he wraps his hands around Pacquiao's throat he will get knocked on his ass because Pacquiao won't stand for that. Roach may run his mouth about the opponent but Pacquiao only talks with his fists on fight night and is always respectful of his opponent. This should be a great fight that will be won by the better fighter in the ring and not by trash talk before the fight. If Mayweather wants to bring up weight draining he should remember his is not the 154 pound champion of the world. He is the 152 pound champion of the world.

Guess trash talking from Freddie and Pac gets a green light just because.

There won't be a need for choking as Pac likely won't stick his forehead in Floyd's face and talk trash.

I am happy Pac pushed hard for this fight.

God already got ringside seats next to Pac's mom. No doubt he'll deliver.

So mayweather admits that is the only reason he beat canelo cause he was weight drained.

              Gotcha.

Double standard at its finest. Blame Oscar for weight draining himself cause he asked for the weight but blame Floyd when Canelo asked for a catch weight of 150, Floyd should get praised for giving him 2 extra pounds.

You fight top opposition for long enough, eventually you're going to lose. He's 38, most fighters are completely shot by that age Historically. No one will hold it against him in the long run if he loses. Sure he'll be clowned mercilessly at first, but 10, 15, 30 years from now people will remember that his record was immaculate during his prime and only lost when he was past it... which has happened to countless other champions.

Ali lost to ****ing Leon Spinks for ****ssake and no one bats an eye when he's called the Greatest. And people forget that Ali was a villain character to the masses during his time. But History sorted out his legacy.

Losing to an ATG does not hurt anyone's legacy.

Of course it is, no one is making that argument.

And again bringing up Ali makes no sense, he's another fighter who was seen as someone that fought everyone, so no one holds loses against him. Fighters who are seen as selective always get their losses magnified, and unfortunately Floyd is looked at that way.

What is with these ******ed Pacquiao fans bringing up Canelo? Floyd didn't mention Canelo. However, Pacquiao did mention De La Hoya and Cotto in relation to his fight with Mayweather. Floyd was trying to make the point that those guys were bigger men draining themselves to make the weight while he himself is not draining himself to 147 since he's a natural 147 pounder.

I think Manny doesn't know how much those catchweights actually helped him in that fight. He THINKS he beat De La Hoya and Cotto and 100% peak performance when that is sadly not true. He's in for a rude awakening May 2nd, similar to the first Morales fight.
