Lucas Matthysse interview ahead of upcoming fight with Provodnikov?

    English Translation (Google Translate):
Lucas Matthysse tells you trust in him for the hard fight on April 18 with Ruslan Provodnikov, and calls for rematch with champion Danny Garcia and even imagines Floyd Mayweather in his future: "I have much to do in boxing" .
While he hits the bag with a special mask to increase his breathing capacity and goes to the gym to lift weights with underwater body training, Lucas Matthysse is countind down the days before climbing into the ring again, something that will occur April 18 at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona (New York). The hard working chubutense in Junín, more precisely in the Laguna de Gómez, to win that night against the dangerous Russian Ruslan Provodnikov and approach another fight with welterweight world champion Danny Garcia.
"I deserve a rematch. I want the title, "explains aOléel recently appointed by the World Boxing Council as mandatory challenger man (after Garcia faces the Ukrainian Viktor Postol), which in 2013 fell to a unanimous decision against American and Puerto Rican in 2014 has regained ground with two spectacular triumphs before the year. The Machine (36-3 with 34 KOs) will now star in a hot fight Provodnikov (24-3 17): "He's a warrior, but I'm confident and I am winning."
    How is the preparation? Anxious?
-I'm Not. Im relaxed because I've been with great training already. Only lacked the confirmation of the date of the fight. I have a good challenge ahead and prepare everything as usual. With my team we are working hard in Laguna.
What do you think Provodnikov? He said one of the two will not leave standing in the ring ...
I'm not going to be the one (long laughter). He is a fighter that likes to attack and he looks pretty strong. Many will go for him for that ... But I do not think he has much power in his hands. He Always does the same thing and his style fits me perfect.
-¿Are you disappointed that the fight is not for the world title?
-a Little bit. It is a very good fight. It may be the best of the year. I think we both have earned the right to fight for the title. Danny Garcia will face Lamont Peterson without defending his belt (the April 11 in Brooklyn). I'll have to beat the Russian, to move forward in my career and I get another World title chance.
*-¿the Rematch with Danny Garcia is the priority?
But I do not want to think of it. He was lucky to earn a win ... My big motivation now is to go home with victory in the fight of April 18. After I have signed a contract with a company (Golden Boy) that promises great things for me for the future. Further work.
*Is it your dream to be champion now?
'I've shown. I have to give it a try ... I think I still have a lot to do in boxing. I wish to have the chance soon for a world title. Or a truly big fight.
    'For example Mayweather?
-Yup. I can move up in weight to face next year. I want to fight the best, it would be a great challenge and I have a lot of confidence, even though I respect him like all because he is a complete fighter. You have to aim for him in front of you ... Now he is conveniently fighting with Pacquiao. I do not know how many more he is planning to have.
-In A note you said you were going to retire at 32. Since then you have turned 32.
Yes, I had said this, but I'm at my best and still not thinking about retirement. I will continue fighting until I feel like I'm no longer up to it.
'After a successful decade as a professional think more in glory? Or the money?
I think about those things. This fight against Provodnikov going to be for the glory even without a belt at stake. I will also help get good money in the upcoming fights, to live quiet ahead and secure the future of my family.
When did you realize that your hands were powerful?
84 amateur fights as I had but there were so many victories by knockout. As a professional, I began to see that rivals did not pass the third round, which gave me great confidence and this was instrumental in my career. Now I have more experience to find the time to strike in a fight. Plus I'm still working on my technique, putting my hands in the right position and better asserting my strength. I want more knockouts.
'What you feel when you opponent's hand hurts you?
-In The fight with John Molina (voted best of 2014) my legs buckled, but it was fine and I recovered well, because I knew I had trained hard. My goal after those two knockdowns was to win anyway. Taking blows give me strength.
'That fight was a good for you as a lot more people support you.
-Yup. We are proud to be valued so much by fans. I watch the videos they make with my knockouts. I hope another KO comes against the Russian. I want my name still heard in the United States, representing the Argentine country well and to measure myself against the best.
    Viva La Maquina!

Appreciate the effort but that was unreadable, it would be good if a Spanish speaker took the time out to translate the quotes.

There was a guy on reddit who used to translate Matthysse interviews, if any of you are on there maybe he has translated this one
