That's all well and good but the only FACT that holds water is that once Roach contacted Moonves, the fight was made. That move and the results from it cut right to the core of what the problem was all along.

Sorry but unless I'm mistaken, you used Floyd's name not those other ones who were truly much more offensive minded (most were). Floyd does not take risks so he will not be walking Manny down. He would only do something like that if there is a clear cut opening or has Manny hurt. It will not be pre-meditated. He didn't do that with Guerrero. What makes you think that he would do that with Manny?

Canelo's game plan was to box Floyd. I don't need to say more.
Floyd knows that one of Canelo's flaws is inexperience and another is fighting relatively flat footed. Manny is nothing like that.

Even then, when Floyd tried to do what you said was still rarely done and was very measured. I'm quite sure had also something to do with Canelo playing possum to try to lure Floyd in.
