Just dry your tears and realize that the Soviet School Of Boxing produced different fighters compared to US. Not as flashy, but effective and powerful. And itīs not that hard to drop a fighter with a well placed liver shot: in fact, thatīs where the least amount of power is required to knock you out. I was never a real boxer, but I once took (light-ish sparring) kind of a standing 8 count due to a liver shot and it hurt for two days.

This phony Soviet mystique has to go . It's allowing too many people's imagination to run completely wild on here , almost to the point where it sounds like many r losing their minds . Firstly it's not just oblique shots which is mostly a GGG thing . Its any kind of body shot as Kovalev shoots mostly for frontal body shots . Kovalev simply tapped Caparello to the front of his stomach and he was forced to take a knee . This mystique is complete smoke and mirrors and I'll bet my kingdom there's absolutely nothing behind it except some very effective form of PEDSComment
