I think this is a pick-em fight. . . I do favor Khan slightly, but Broner has some heart, and some skill, he has the minerals to trade with Khan, fast hands, some good power. Some general ring IQ, He'll need to learn to use his feet more though.

Khan is at 147 and Broner is obviously struggling to make 140 so that might not be a problem. Both guys need to beat a good name. Khan wants no part of Brook it seems and he won't be getting a fight with either Floyd or Manny.

Khan is really at some sort of crossroads. He needs to establish himself as a top WW as a fighter but also doing big numbers and beating recognisable fighters to the casual fans too. Brook was the best option, in the UK at leasr but Khan doesn't want it. I doubt he fights Thurman anytime soon. A fight with someone like Porter is useless as he was beaten by Brook and nobody cares about Porter. A Maidana rematch maybe as his stock has gone up since beating Broner and fighting Floyd. Bradley maybe but not many people care that much about him although he's talented but he hasn't looked that great at times lately. Even through Broner might not even be on the level of these guys, people know his name, he's a recognisable fighter and Khan will look good and get some credit if he wins that fight in style. So really it's not a bad option for Khan.

Broner really does need a really good win on his record after the Maidana fight. If he wants to go to the top, still be the next huge PPV star like he says and really believes it then he needs that big win and by big i mean someone as big as a name like Khan.

It's really not a bad option for both guys depending on how you look at it. It probably does good numbers and money and a win for both will enhance their reputation amongst those who don't follow the sport that much and really thats where the real money comes from if you can reach out to them.

One thing Khan has in favour for him is well, Broner's power doesn't really transfer up, at 147 he's a bit too small for the weight, maybe a CW at 144 or something, I can't see Khan going for that though. I wouldn't really blame him or expect him to either.
