Hard not to like Kovalev.. guys exciting to watch and makes every effort to fight the best and biggest names whenever wherever.

Strange to think that 3 years ago he was on the verge of giving it all up following the Simakov tragedy and several years of frustration on the club/ non televised scene.

I don't think he was pondering giving up boxing , rather he was considering giving up the PEDS that led to his opponents death . The outcome of this fight will be another KO , curtesy of another body shot . Why anyone would fight this juice-man without Olympic style blood and urine testing is truly beyond me . Sadly enough I still believe he's a great fighter without PEDS , but I don't believe his tremendous power comes naturally .
