Comments Thread For: Cotto Feels Pacquiao Will Give Mayweather Big Problems

WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto expects Manny Pacquiao to give Floyd Mayweather Jr. a lot of problems on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Cotto has been in the ring with both fighters. He was stopped by Pacquiao in the twelfth round of their 2009 clash, which took place at a catch-weight of 145-pounds. In 2012, he gave Mayweather all he could handle when dropping a twelve round decision in a fight which took place at 154-pounds.

Pacquiao and Cotto share the same trainer in Freddie Roach.

All these advantages + working with Freddie Roach and still got KTFO by a slower, lower iq, less killed than Mayweather fighter in Marquez. In 4 tries, Roach couldn't even come up with a definitive plan to deal with JMM, yet he can with Mayweather in one fight? Ok!

What does one expect from a stablemate? Do we really expect a stablemate to root for the other guy?

Honestly, Manny seems to be training harder for this fight than I've EVER seen him train for Marquez. I think Manny sort of overlooked Marquez but he's not overlooking Floyd.

Obviously JMM was battered on the 4th fight, Pac already had him until that perfect power right.
