Popular Polish light heavyweight contender Dawid Kostecki is caught in the whirlwind of a doping scandal, after several outlets in Poland have reported that he tested positive for anabolic steroids in the aftermath of last November's ring return against Andrzej Soldra. The fight took place on the Adamek-Szpilka undercard.
He was making his return after being away from the ring for well over two years. The boxer spent some time in prison after being convicted of several criminal acts a few years earlier.
