Comments Thread For: Khan on Broner: I'd Fight Him Next, Make it Happen!

WBC silver welterweight champion Amir Khan (30-3, 19 KOs) has answered the call of former three division world champion Adrien Broner (30-1, 22 KOs). Earlier today, Broner challenged the British star to a showdown at the end of the month. Broner posted his challenge, along with a photo, on the social networks.

"No disrespect to Virgil Hunter, he is a great coach and I got endless love for him but me and Amir Khan can fight at the end of this month. I haven't taken any punishment, I'm back in the gym and ready to make a fool out of anybody #AboutBillions #ABonNBC."

You know you're a jaded fan when two fighters under the same promoter are calling each out and you still don't think they'll fight.

Mehhh, I'm not feeling it. Khan is even willing to fight Cotto, but that is just Khan. He needs to target Thurman if no Brook. Winning that belt sets up a nice story line for the winner of May-Pac.

Broner doesn't bring anything that Khan can earn from beating him. May be when he was undefeated, but Maidana ****** out the air from that hype balloon already and reaped the reward.

Brook, Thurman or Bradley in that order.

I'm sick of this. Broner called out Guerrero. Guerrero showed up in his face and fight didn't happen. It's been the same with other fighters. Nothing happened. Why is this any different? Tell me.

I got Khan in this fight. His feet are simply way too fast. If his chin holds up, I don't see how he doesn't outbox AB.

#1. When did the WBC silver welterweight championship become something valid?
#2. They just gave Khan that belt for beating Collazo, so why is it being mentioned as something of substance.

#3. Broner is a LWW and Khan is a WW ... Why is Khan calling out or accepting challenges from a LWW's when he stated that he's gunning for the top-dogs in the WW division.

#4. Thurman challenged Khan on numerous occasions and received only crickets and silence, why accept a LWW's challenge and not a legitimate challenge from a WW.

                  Hypocrisy at its best!!!!
