How can I beat swarmers?

As soon as he gets close enough to you you should punch him in his face and then move.... and repeat. simple

Jab alot and throw straight punches, also hit the body with straights to slow them down. pretty much just keeping range and try to clinch if you cant get off the ropes

I have trouble defending myself from nonstop flurry of punches.

Straight jab and circle to a side; depending on your level of athleticism, you might even be able to get off a nice body jab, before moving. Re-set the person's rhythm.

Make him miss and make him pay. Hard. Always circle around and dont put on the earmuffs cuz they throw alot & some are bound to land. Mental preparedness is the key.

You have to have the right attitude. You have to let that swarmer know right from the beginning that you refuse to be swarmed on. YOU REFUSE! You look that swarmer right in the eyes, and you give him the look that says "I will not be bullied. I will not be swarmed on! I'm the boss! I'm the winner!!!!".

I never had any fights but used to spar alot at the gym. I prefer swarmers, they are predictable, easier to hit, I don't have to think as much and judge when the best time to throw is without getting caught because they help create the offensive opportunities for you. I hated sparring faster more and experienced skilled movers/boxers.

You gain an appreciation for these styles only after you face them yourself. I had the same problem with faster counter punchers

Be a better swarmer or have superior footwork help....even floyd dont know how to look good vs them, something pac is excellent at....but if u're not known for being a puncher, u need someone like kenny bayless for sure to even have a chance...
