So, will Maidana finally fight Thurman?

We all know of the incident where he pulled out of a bout against Thurman "3 weeks prior". So, while Khan made up by pwning Alexander 12-0, which I think inspired Guerrero to do the same by fighting Thurman. Will Maidana do the same?

When this guy is coming off a win, his fans talk about how Thurman is high risk and low reward compared to the more lucrative options available to Maidana.

When it is a loss, it is about getting a winnable tune-up.

Now this time Maidana is coming off a loss, but threw out Pacquiao's name and now they're hoping for a Garcia bout quite badly (2 articles on BScene).

They're willing to fight such top names, but no mention of One Time? Is Thurman still high risk low reward even after Guerrero? Even now that he holds Maidana's old belt?

Call me a skeptic but I really don't think Marcos wants anything to do with Thurman. I mean I'm not saying Maidana doesn't have a chance to pull it off I just don't think they will risk facing Keith right after coming off a loss.

Be careful what you wish for. Thurman has no business being in the ring with a lion like Maidana. It could be career ending for him. Thurman would come out swinging, and come down to earth real quick. Maidana would bully him to the ropes and stop him early.

Oh this thread again. For ****s sake.

I agree with loadinwraps, you guys want this fight so bad, yet would likely be pretty disappointed with the outcome.

I just find it cringe worthy. The guy is this supposed "warrior" and all, but doesn't want to fight Thurman. I actually think he has a good chance of beating him.

I don't think he will, no idea why it's a winnable fight for him.

I can see Maidana eventually fighting Thurman but I am not so sure he beats Thurman.
