Thurman been up to 154 already vs Carlos Quintana

So 154 is not a problem and at 154 yes he clearly still had his Power

    MAKE THE FIGHT!

Lara isn't calling anyone out. Lara's management is using Lara's managed twitter account to name associate Lara with more relevant and popular boxers for populist reasons, exploiting peoples ignorance as to how boxing fights are made, and as a means of promoting him.

Like when Lara's management used Lara's managed Twitter account to "call out" GGG, and when Lara's management leaked Lara's name to the media as a prospective opponent for Miguel Cotto.

Management companies have press divisions that release press statements in boxers names and also utilize social media to promote fighters contracted to them, amongst other things.

Lara's management promote him well. If they didn't do what they do Lara would be completely anonymous and even fewer people would give a **** about him that currently do.

Thurman destroys Lara. And I'm not even being biased. I equally hate both of these guys.

Thurman should stay at 147. Better division with bigger fights. Lara should fight Andrade, rather than calling out welterweights.

            Lara would outbox Thurman.

Don't understand why he's calling out a welterweight though.

And for those saying Thurman has fought at 154, he hasn't. The Quintana fight was a 152 catchweight. Thurman was a welterweight as an amateur and the weight limit for welterweight at the amateurs is 152, that's why he started his career weighing over 147 for some fights, like most young fighters do, but started cutting weight properly as he stepped up in competition.

Didn't Thurman come in at 162 last fight? This a great fight. Thurman has better legs than Canelo and might catch Lara. But Lara is better technically and has the speed edge. Nevertheless, another fight that happens.

Good fight someone needs to fight Lara. He beat Canelo and just shut out the former IBF champion Ishe Smith 12-0 and can't find a fight??

Lara can fight at 147,154 and 160. He's a fighter that doesn't ballooned up to 60-70lbs in between fights, he always ready to fight.

Lara is way too skilled for Thurman.

You're probably right about that, I don't see Lara being allowed to fight Golovkin on HBO.

Why is this Lara clown calling out a fighter who just had a fight a few days ago? Andrade is waiting for you doe. He's available and ready.
