I really thought Hearn could make a much bigger offer than this, but maybe DeGale hasn't got the pull that I thought he had.

Anyway Degale's chances of a win dropped significantly there.

I promised myself that i'd never ever watch a Dirrell fight again after seeing him run a marathon against Froch. Has he improved since the Super 6?

He's a guy always looking for an advantage, in this case that meant over paying. Seriously, Dirrell has about 10 fans, unless they have this fight in his living room it won't be selling out.

Instead of a big event PPV in a sold out stadium were going to get a cheaply done broadcast in a dingy little building.
whose fault is that warriors outbid Hearn? Haymon's? are you ******ed?

They were probably bidding with Haymon's money. He is most probably behind their bid and the amount. He seems to have some big investors lately and has money to burn. Look at the insane purses he paid on his PBC show!

$2.1million is a pretty big offer for this fight.

A Wild thought perhaps, but what hinders Warriors staging the fight in England? Surely the revenue would be bigger there.

Based on what? I would think DeGale could draw 10K for a world title fight. Sky and HBO money would give a nice revenue and there would be a small fee from Europe.

But maybe I've read too many of your fanboy chunky posts.

What does Haymon have to do with the size of Hearn's bid? $2.1 isn't bad but it was small in this instance. Next time, be prepared to bid more.
