There's no rulebook on how to score a fight? Do you even watch boxing? The three criteria on scoring a fight are effective aggression, landing clean punches, and ring generalship.

Thurman is a smart man who clearly does his homework, yes you have to get Mayweather while he is trying to figures you out and starts to time you. Now of course that is easier said than done because it is not like he is going to make it easy for you the land clean and with something BIG

Just taking the counter is the fastest way to end up like the Marquez fight.

Thurman is my boy and I think he's the future of the WW division. Everyone has an opinion about this fight. Here are the facts. Mayweather has never been beat. So I don't understand why all these people are coming up with game plans and ways to beat him.

Like Mosley said. Mayweather doesn't pack too much power. But you sure will feel the punches. Why do you think he shut Mosley out after he was wobbled? Mosley felt Mayweather's straight right hand. And it didn't feel too good. People then perceive that Mayweather doesn't have power when in fact the other fighter becomes timid. Refusing to get hit with sharp stiff counter right hands.

You guys are saying Mayweather hasn't fought someone fast in some time. Excuse me when was the last time Pacquiao faced someone with speed? When is the last time Pacquiao faced someone bigger than him? He fought a bunch of inflated 140 pounders and pillow punchers. Mayweather has been in there with Canelo Alvarez and Maidana. Both known as big punchers. While Pacquiao has been in there with the likes of Chris Algeri, Bradley, and Rios his last 3 fights. None of them have much speed nor power.

If anything Manny will have the most difficult time adjusting to someone he has trouble finding who punishes him for his mistakes. I don't think there is a specific time Manny has to go for Mayweather. Whatever that game plan is he better stick to it and not gas himself trying to win early.

You guys have to realize that Mayweather does start off slow purposely. Because he knows how to pace himself. And usually his opponents aren't use to being on that big stage(Mayweather is the stage). So out of desperation they try and finish the fight early or expend too much energy in the early rounds. And don't land a damn thing.

Maidana threw 700 punches the first fight and still got outlanded. That shows he used a bunch of energy for naught and got his ass whipped as the fight progressed. It really doesn't matter. If you come out too aggressive Mayweather will let you use that energy and will pot shot you and block or avoid most of your punches. Then he will turn up the gas later and dominate. If you don't come out aggressive, you're going to be countered and hit with lead right hands anyway. In fact Mayweather will walk you down and provoke you to make mistakes. Just really doesn't matter either way.

This guy Thurman belongs to the top 1%, in and out of the ring. He knows what to look for and he will beat the crap out of Floyd and UD, Pac.

Thurman gets it. Mayweather is not marquez. Pac has to know he has to take a few and then throw. I see pacs volume and speed to beat may.
