Too much of a size difference.
Id actually favor tarver. briggs is so shot and slow now. hes easy to hit. tarver should be able to out work briggs to a decision if he fights smart. the younger fast briggs would have bulldozed him tho

They are both old men, but Tarver recently beat Banks, while Briggs has beaten tomato cans and even had to go 12 with one of them.

Neither one of them could beat Kubrat Pulev much less Wlad, but I'd take Tarver over Briggs at this point.

Tarver beat Banks recently -- Briggs last big win was a last second luck shot in a fight he was losing badly to Sergei Liakhovich.

Sultan Ibragimov then dismantled Briggs and took his WBO title with EASE.

And quit boxing when he lost to Wlad.

Briggs at this point is all hat, no cattle.

They're both tomato cans but Tarver would win. You only have to survive two rounds against Briggs and he's blowing out his arse. No stamina whatsoever.

Briggs was shot, slow and easy to hit when he lost to Liakhovich, who tried to get cute with a huge lead, and when Sultan Ibragimov easily took his WBO HW world title away from him.

            And that was years ago.

Briggs has a big mouth, that's all he's got left.

Hell, there's still guys on here who think James Toney can beat Wlad. He lost almost every round to Lucas Browne but he can beat Wlad?

                Self-delusion is a powerful thing.
