Arum saying he can't work with HBO I knew was BS, but I'm generally shocked Haymon said he was still interested in working with Cotto despite RocNation as his promotion. I guess if the money makes sense he'll make a fight happen he's just milks it longer than Bob unfortunately it seems.
But but I thought HBO dont wanna show cotto no more lol

I think Cotto made a good choice. 3 more fights, good money, and opportunity of making other things besides boxing.
BOXING IS JUST A BUSINESS right now. He hustlin'.

He and his advisor could have handled it more professionally with top rank. Nobody who has any ethics in business would just stop returning phone calls instead of just saying sorry but it was an offer too good to refuse. Hopefully roc nation can really get fights for cotto.
I agree with innocent until proven guilty but probability plays a big part in this case.

Cotto was the undefeated stud going in against Margacheato. Cotto was the betting favourite.
Mosley was considered over the hill & was the underdog in the Margacheato fight.
To suggest that Maragacheato used standard wraps in the Cotto fight when he was the underdog is clutching at straws.
The damage to Cotto was evident & if the suggestion is this damage was inflicted with standard wraps then it becomes ludicrous.
Why wear illegal wraps going into a fight that he was expected to win?

There's no way to prove how long Margacheato was loading up with dusters.
Cotto's toughness & heart could have got him killed that night fighting against loaded gloves. He didn't want to give up his 0 & could have ended up giving his life.

Arum's a rat but he's not daft. He knows Margacheato loaded up against Cotto.

Good deal for Cotto money wise.

Lets see what happens as far as opponents. The opponents will need to be of the fan-friendly variety one would think so that this 3 fight deal for $50 million would make any sense for Roc Nation.

He will be facing Canelo in September or November, I gurantee you that. In the case of GGG, he will not fight him, he is going to vacate the tittle.
