There's pictures of his family in urban studies text books of them strung out and living in dirty, rat infested, crumbling buildings. His sister probably gave birth to children in middle school and he himself is already grandfather.

This is on top of the fact that his ppl are the poorest latino group in the U.S. Real modern day peasants. Also, his people on the island have a higher poverty rate than those in mexico. It's just so sad and we shouldn't really be giving him a hard time. Him and his people endure enough everyday in NYC. Just leave him alone man. He has nothing else but NSB and that washed up miserable lady he parades. Be the bigger person bro.
Right, so poor that half of the Dominican Republic is still swimming to Puerto Rico.

I guess pealing plantains in Washington Heights isn't enough.

            ^^^^^This...

How can anyone fault a man for trying to better himself by making more money especially when he's at the tail end of his career?

Cotto has maybe two fights left in at best. Why not make the most out of it while making the most from it?

It amazes me how many forget how many promoters used so many fighter's like recycled kotex's and the fighters are left by the way side broke, in debt and with more tax issues than the average joe could shake a stick at.

Though I was never a big fan of DLH or Floyd for that matter I was so happy they branched out and seen through the velvet lining and spiel and become self made men marketing their own talent knowing the business in the ring and learning from it behind the scenes.

for the record I can't hate on Cotto AT ALL for signing with RNS. Would have done the same if I were in his shoes/stage of his career. I still insist he should be fighting a middleweight opponent though. And he clearly has ducked Canelo(don't even have to bring in GGG to the conversation). And of course my biggest criticism of his is that he's a super over hyped boxer due to his overly biased fans. That is all. But yes, the RNS deal? Can't and won't hate AT ALL.

But, this is what makes you a douchebag. There quite a few fighters I feel are not only "overrated..." But DIRTY too. Unlike you, I don't feel a need to make little silly "cotto the duck" sigs. Your issue is DEEPER than what you are presenting in your defense of being a di ck. The envy is palpable and screaming of some deep rooted inferiority complex. You also act as if, the other side is not hyping up their favorite fighters who were made to look foolish on SEVERAL occasions in the ring.

Stop trying to make sense of what you are which is essentially a troll douchebag PR hater. We see you;we own you.

"I was lying yesterday, today I'm telling the truth".....Cotto probably just caught Arum on the bad days, he should have made a schedule so that he only talked to Arum on "Truthful Tuesdays" and "Trustworthy Thursdays".

That win pretty much got him that Jay Z deal.
What Cotto said was that he owes TR nothing because from day one with them he was just considered an investment and that investment has been paid back ten fold. He was responding to Arum's insinuation that they were friends and therefore Cotto betrayed his friends.
