Really like Keith Thurman's talent and style, and I think he could get better with a new trainer or someone to come in and asst his current trainer Dan Birmingham . There are some holes in his game still, he's a young guy with room to develop.

But how he get's there is to increase his skill level even further through refining his style, balance and learning new things he can add on. A new trainer or asst with vast experience and knowledge in the ring as champion can do that for Thurman.

No disrespect to Trainer Dan Birmingham who is a good trainer in his own right, and he worked with Trainer Benjamin Getty who worked with Sugar Ray Leonard, ok. Imo a Trainer like Virgil Hunter would do great work with "One Tine" Keith Thurman.

You guys put way too much emphasis on trainers.

It's one thing when a fighter has worked with only one trainer their whole life, or if you have a bad trainer, or if what you're doing isn't working for you.

Keith and Dan work together great.
