That would be a helluva fight. I saw some holes in Thurmans game that could be exploited by someone who can stand up to his power, and pack a punch of their own.

To me it's very close. I voted for Thurman. He is a big welterweight and as big or bigger than Cotto when it comes to lean body weight. He is young and improving while Cotto may be declining. They can both box with skill and hit with real power but Thurman hits very hard with both hands. Cotto's power is mainly in his left jab and left hook as is often the case with a converted southpaw.
