Paulie is a well known Pac hater.

He only became a Pacquiao hater, in all honesty, when the guy with tattoos all over his body used the 'fears of needles' as the perceived argument to scuttle Mayweather-Pacquiao in 2009. He'd been hearing the whispers like everyone else and he watched the punching power vanish once Mayweather spoke up.

Paulie is a featherfisted/brittle-handed fighter who used an educated jab, and really good boxing craft to make a career for himself in the sport; if he'd cheated the sport, in the manner that it would seem like Pacquiao cheated the sport, he could've been twice the star (Italian American kid, from New York, with the 'gift of gab' in English/Spanish/Italian).
