Porter is very over rated IMO. Thurman would beat him. It would be as clear and decisive as when brook beat him.

People still think Porter is a good inside fighter?

If and or but Thurman is better and knocks him out or wins a wide UD in my opinion. Porter lost to Brook while Thurman just beat Guerrero by a larger point spread than Mayweather beat Guerrero. What has Porter done to redeem himself after his lost to Brook? Thurman is so good he has won all his fights either by KO or on the rare times he didn't get the KO then he wins by a huge points margin UD.

I agree that this would be a great fight to see whose style is imposed. Porter is like an Octopus on the inside, very difficult to deal with. Would Thurman employ a Brook-like strategy or be able to. If not, it could be a long night for Thurman. If I had to pick who would be easier to hurt, it would point to Porter because when you box him and pot-shot him, he starts walking into punches and I have seen him discourage when he does and sometimes stunned a little like against Ray Robinson. He would have to crowd Thurman to win. Literally run across the ring and put Thurman on the ropes and never let him breath. Maybe he learned from the Brook fight. He has to because he really showed a very amateurish approach to Brook with the game plan he used.

                  Thurman would wreck Porter,,

Porter would constantly lumber in and thurman would step back and unload on him...

A good power puncher is porters kryptonite.. He needs lesser punchers,, his style is just not suited well vs bombers... Think frazier-foreman or mosely-margarito

Thurmann vs Porter will be just like Bundu vs Thurmann

Thurmann can run all night, using his jab and the ring

Porter will spend the entire fight chasing him

                    Thurmann wins UD

People underrating Porter I think, he's a solid all-round fighter.

I see Thurman boxing him and winning a decisive UD, like 8-4 or something. But with no clinching.
