UFC on FOX deal was about capitalizING on the momentum the UFC had going at that time. Boxing NBC deal is about getting people to start tuning back into boxing. It's a good starting point for making a comparison but not an end all be all.

The payouts from last night were much larger, and the live gate will probably be low (considering reports of poor ticket sales, free tickets).
poor viewership numbers, high purses, mediocre fights, delusional thinking, corrupt hearts, etc. is the downfall of PBC.

never trust haymon with anything because he is like a disease. NBC will find this out soon enough.

I thought it was about getting a UFC-like tv deal.

I've heard some people say that because it was live the total ratings are incomplete.

NBC will kick haymon to the curb because your hero is a disease. you are a disease. deal with it.

NBC is a network of winners not clown act weirdos like haymon. al haymon's circus show is going to bring NBC's reputation down hard.

Wouldn't read too much into the numbers either way. Judge it on how it performs over the course of a year.
