So after watching this fight my question is this..

Does Molina suck or was this an off-night?
This was such an important fight, and big chance for him. It boggles my mind why he didnt event seem to try to take advantage of it. Bizarre.

To those who say this is how he always fights. ie the Bey fight, well in that fight he was throwing more than 2 punches a round and Bey was winning more convincingly than Broner.

He froze, even when it was the late rounds and his only chance was KO, and he didnt seem to be hurt or beaten up badly, he threw 2 semi punches in the last round.

No clue why, but it seriously hurt what was left of his career.

yes everyone was saying that. molina lost his last 2 fights so clearly he is not very good. why are people getting excited that broner won a tune up? if berto beats lopez is berto back on top of boxing?

oh come on it was clearly fixed! don't buy into this "he was elusive" thing. most of us agree that this was the most obviously fixed fight we've ever seen. nobody but nobody would put on that performance, holding back on their punches, chance at beating a name, get to r12 and not throw a single punch. the fk outta here. this. fight. was. bought.

I recall lots of people saying stuff like "It would be funny if Molina knocked him out" or "Molina is average but he can still beat Broner".

I can't remember anyone really saying Molina is a great fighter... Ever. When this fight was announced or otherwise. He's a simple meat & potatoes brawler so he makes a fun opponent sometimes (not this time).

Then again who knows, people type some silly stuff on here. I'd still give Molina a puncher's chance against Broner just because Broner's own defense is pretty bad, but that's it.

Who's getting excited Broner won this fight? Most people are saying Molina didn't let his hands go, but in the interview, he clearly said Broner was too elusive. That's more of what's going on in this thread, or was until the interview was posted.

Yeah that win really does little for Broner. I was extremely disappointed in Molina. Then afterwards "Broner did more running then I would of liked, he wouldn't let me fight inside." Like we need to play the world's smallest violin because Broner would just stand there and let Molina hit him. Molina didn't even try to win. He was only there for a check.

No more waiting. Broner needs to fight Lucas first. The only exception is if Danny wants to give Lucas a rematch. No other fight will do. Molina can go back to Friday night fights for all I care. What a terrible performance.

I picked Broner to win in a FIGHT. We didnt see a fight, we saw Molina standing still and honestly boring everyone to death while waiting for Broner to start fighting. Yes, Molina isnt good. But he can throw punches and at least brawl if he wants to do so. He did so against Matthysse and made it fight of the year. He could have done the same here and maybe even have achance of winning. But he didnt. He did not fight. If he had tried and failed it would have been very different but all I can see here is that this fight was fixed. No one's THAT ******.

The sad part is that Broner did stand there in front of him many times. It was like "For Fkssake throw a fking punch!!!!!". Still, nothing.

Molina just not at that level he's a tough SOB and can catch you if your not focused but I'd say he loses to almost every A-B level fighter

I'd say more credit should be given to Broner he didn't even take it out of 3rd gear and made easy work out of Molina as expected , I'm surprised so many people thought Molina stood a chance I guess purely going off their emotion.
