there your best and theyve fought bums all da way with the odd live opponent.
damn only winky and floyd can lay claim to having beat a few top guys & even
that is debatable to some. Reppin Uk
That's a funny post because both Calzaghe and Hatton had fought bums there whole life! Calzaghe i will give props to for beating Lacy. But guess what? Lacy makes his resume looks way better than before. As for Hatton. Hmm the clinchman... he beat Kostya tszyu thats it. In a wrestling match and yet fought 39 bums to fight him. Don't even bring up muassa that guy is a nobody. How do you go from fighing kostya tszyu to a Carlos Muassa?.

So on the other hand i don't think Hatton has any chance. As for Calzaghe i think he has the upperhand. Not only because he won in the Lacy fight it's because i underestimated him. I never seen him fight and i was assuming that Lacy would kill him. IMO Calzaghe is a way better fighter than Hatton. He shows more skill and accually land punches nice and clean. Ohh and did i mention does'nt clinch every 10-15 secs?

      ooh and for this article.....

Calzaghe has been the best super-middleweight in the world since Jones Jr left the division, and you didn't find any arguments from anybody from the Eubank fight onwards that Joe wasn't the best out there. He's beaten five former world champions and the 'next big thing'.

Hatton was rated #4 by the WBC going into the Magee fight (Magee was #5), so he's been a top boy for ages too. He's beaten former world champs himself like Freddie Pendleton and Vince Phillips, looked better against Ben Tackie than Tszyu did, looked better against Tony Pep than Mayweather did, stopped Ray Oliveira for the first time in his career, etc.

He beat the 35 year old KT, the 38 year old Phillips, the 40 year old Pep, and a very mediocre Mcgee that not only dropped Hatton but gave Hatton a fight that Hatton almost lost. Pendleton is garbage. By the way Mayweather fought Pep 3 years before hatton did and Mayweather looked great against Pep.

Hatton has fought Bums or has beens!!!!!!!!!!!

i was sayin that the aint much difference between hatton, calzaghe, and most top american fighters.

calzaghe is a better boxer/fighter no doubt but hes not as
ruthlessly effective as hatton and slaps, as people say

hatton dominated mcgee all night long.
all mcgee did was try to counter hatton when he came in.
good kd but hatton was fine
