If the guerrero fight would be the gauge of both guys performances who would you think would win Thurman vs Floyd?
Floyd by extremely boring UD. If Guerrero was catching Thurman clean, Floyd would have an absolute field day. Thurman would have to fight Floyd the way Cotto did, and he gets hit way too much to do that.

No way is Thurman as fast as khan... You're delusional

Love the versatility from Thurman, got a chance to see his inside fighting finally and he did good vs Guerrero who I consider a good inside fighter and a mauler inside.

People talking about "RUNTIME" because Thurman moved around a bit for 1 Round never mind the fact that he was throwing BOMBS most of this fight but 1 Round he moves around and he gets labeled "RUNTIME" by COMPLETE IDIOTS

Great Performance by Thurman but nothing but respect to Guerrero who win the heart of the FANS in a losing effort

Same thing with Broner. They put him in there with a guy that is slow as dirt, willing to take punishment, and he just played it safe and pecked away, instead of getting in with combinations.

These fights were both setup as showcase fights where they were suppose to impress in.

Neither guy impressed really. Terrible way to start off a serious attempt to bring boxing back to network TV.

Also, terrible add placement. Anyone else notice the #runallnight add being show first, while the fighters are running from their opponents?

On the upside the production value was fairly impressive, and some of the things they tried to do could be cool.

Apparently Mares is fighting his sparring partner.
I've heard that's what happens if you're used to taking on soft competition.

That should have happened last December.
Bradley shown he can box with best and take a punch. He wouldn't be bother by the mediocre movement and the pot shooting by Thurman. Bradley wins easy with volume punching alone.

But they were making it that Thurman was completely in control ..when it was actually close the first 5 rounds.
What fight were you looking at!?!?

Guerrero obviously didn't or couldn't get his inside game going much, except for the 10th(?) After that, someone must've reminded Bayless he's hired to keep Guerrero away from Thurman or no paycheck. Hard enough cornering the runner Thurman without Bayless sticking his nose in there when he was clearly interfering.

It could be that the Kamegai fight took something out of Guerrero, because I've not seen him that slow and unable to pull the trigger, except for the Floydie fight. But anyway, good win for Thurman. But he certainly didn't dominate the way the commentators said he did.

Speaking of, I really wanted to get behind this one, being the first prime time network TV coverage in years, but wow what a pathetically ran show. WAY too glitzy, pathetic commentating by both Marv Albert(?) and Leonard. ESPECIALLY Leonard. Geez, put Ray out to pasture. SMH

You don't really believe that. Bradley can be manipulated in the ring. Plus he's not a big enough WW and can't punch hard enough to back Thurman up. Thurman has the size, power, and explosiveness not to mention the obvious physical advantages. Bradley doesn't bring anything to the ring against Thurman.
