Broner is still a great fighter

Broner had a close fight with Malignaggi, couldn't stop Carlos Molina and he lost to Maidana, fighters Khan beat easy so hows he even surviving 12 rounds against Khan? lol..
there's a reason Broner already ducked Khan like Floyd ducked Khan 3 times - because they both know they're getting beatComment

Not a chance that Broner beats Khan. He has no power above 135, flat footed, and gets thoroughly outboxed 10-2/9-3.Comment

Broner is a natural talent
His downfall will be his commitment outside of camp & trying to mimic someone elses style
When Broner is relaxed and flowing he is slick, fast, evasive and powerful. When he tries to use the shoulder roll he becomes vulnerable, he tenses up, loses some of that slickness & is easier to hitComment

I think Broner loses to the heavy hitters at 140... The guy is easy to hit.. and stays in front of his man.
Provodnikov would KO him. Matthysse as well perhaps.
Garcia wins too. Algieri would keep moving on him and probably win by decision. Crawford would outbox him.
And I'm convinced more than ever, that Broner will never able to successfully move up to 147.Last edited by Strategic1; 03-08-2015, 07:45 AM.Comment

Broner doesn't punch when punched at and his defense has got so leaky that too many big punches slip in.
He still has speed and power but at times doesn't move his legs enough to get out of the way of incoming punches. An active fighter with better skill than Molina will trouble him because AB likes to fight at a certain paceComment

The problem's the shoulder roll.
It's AB's problem rather presenting a problem for anyone else.
It's an unatural style for him. If he thinks the shoulder roll suits him then he's playing himself.
He's a relaxed fighter yet tenses up when in the shoulder roll guard.
I'm not talking about when the opponents swinging at him. He tenses up before that in anticipaton and presents his opponent with a golden opportunity
If he ignored the shoulder roll, boxed and moved & used what comes naturally then he would be hard to beat.
Trying to be something he's not & inserting a synthetic style into his natural game makes him vulnerable
Broner is fearless, we've seen that. We're now seeing him fighting smarter, if he really smartens up he'll move away from that shoulder rollComment
