Why do people care more about what a fighter

Makes money wise instead of him actually fighting the best to prove he's the best to the fans that support him..if I had a favorite fighter, sure it's nice to know he's getting paid good for the brain damage HE'S taking but not against bums.....

Well you said it yourself, they "support him", i.e. the fighter, not necessarily what is best for the sport. Hero worship gone a step too far.

Oh well I just hope creepy haymon and de lahoya and arum can start forcing real good fights or start black listing those fighters

because the fans thinks it's actually them getting paid in a few years it's gonna be promoters just promoting what was a fighter to make shoes and **** and people gonna be complaining about what promoter made more these kids are ******ed these days

People seem to get some sort of satisfaction watching someone they admire get paid, almost as if they're living their dream through them. Something to brag about when you get into idiotic conversations between fan boys, along with PPV buys, ticket prices, investments.
