Not surprised Shiming lost, same way I wasn't surprised Salido beat Loma...one reason, both these guys are tough, dirty pros who know how to work fighters, rounds and judges. From what I'm hearing, this was a dirty, sloppy, physical affair, exact same words I'd use to describe Loma/Salido.

It's why I think there should be a Loma/Salido II, so we can see how good Loma is against that type of pro.

Shiming can come back, no denying his skill, stamina and handspeed. However he has to be brought along more carefully.

This is the best possible news to wake up to. Don't worry Uncle Bob, you can always try to milk three Shiming vs. Viloria fights. On the flip side, Ruenroeng just keeps getting it down. If this trend keeps up, he's going to earn a one way ticket to an ass kicking from Chocolatito.

i think as just fans we know when we are watching a special fighter. its like an intuition we get when we know the guy is going to be damn good. i have that feeling watching rigondeaux and lomachenko. not shiming

I bet old Bob is pissed. My guess is that he'll just keep him hidden out in China. He makes good $ off the Chinese fans. If he goes overseas, his amateurness will get further exposed by those beasts!

There goes Arum's hope of getting the Chinese interested in boxing. Top Rank is losing ground in the US to Haymon. after Pacquiao retires, no more PPV worth watching from Top Rank.

Shiming never struck me as special fighter. He had handspeed, could move, and was a bit cocky in the ring at times. Oh well, guess you can try again next week.
