Truth , there is 0 chance in hell that Floyd goes out of the gate walking pac down , as in -> walking FORWARD into Pac punching range , it will be so dumb its unreal.
he will USE his advantages of size and reach to control the distance and counter punch trying to furstrate Pac into making mistakes.
he will however will need to show heart and fight as Pac has amazing volume and will connect.

What has he been up to.

Floyd will feel Pacquiao's power and respect it. Whether he has the balls to step up and fight fire with fire is another matter.

Maybe he do like so many other Pacquiao opponents have done and just try and survive the night.
Same can be said about Floyds power. Floyds chin has stood up to hard and clean shots and he took them no problem, the same can't be said about Pacquiaos though. I could easily see Pacquiao getting rocked.

And that will be the difference. Floyd won't just run away and try to survive, he will fight Pacquiao and make Pacquiao look bad. The reason why Pacquiao has looked like a monster in the past is cuz no one fought back. JMM fought back, he made Pac look bad, even Bradley fought back and made Pac look bad. What do you think is gonna happen when Floyd starts timing Pacquiao when he comes in and he catches him with counters?

Like I said Floyd best chance if he comes out looking for that KO, and why said what I have said.

Pacquiao underrated defence will be key.

Pacquiao may get caught by rights, but single punches, thrown with little gusto ain't going to stop Pacquiao throwing and landing his punches.

Floyd is the ultimate, pure boxer! Please logically explain to me why the ***ing hell would he ever look for a KO?!? Floyd is such a good boxer, that he's never been put in a posistion where he needed to go for the KO. May 2nd he's gonna need a KO to beat Pacquiao???

i could see floyd doing a combination of fighting/boxing, slowly walking pac down, using his left to probe and keep pacs guard occupied and create openings, bending low so manny wont know where the shots are coming from, still firing 1 or two shots, but doing so more often, similar to how he fought against mosley, ortiz or judah.

i think pacquiao fans dont want to think that floyd will walk manny down because they think floyds gonna come and stalk a fighter like chavez sr, moving their head, coming forward, throwing combos to the head and body, having no regard for their punching, when floyd walks someone down its different, hes still accurate, and hes still defensively responsible, he relies more on feints and his speed to create and find openings, and he can still counter you while walking you down...

For a guy that hasn't had a KO in over 5yrs, Pac's "power" sure is being talked about a lot.

In the last 7 years Mayweather has lost more rounds than Floyd. You calling Floyd the ultimate pure boxer is just your opinion.

He can't outwork Manny, he can't stop all of his punches. He needs to hurt Pacquiao, but unlike other opponents this will not stop Pacquiao's onslaught, he will need to KO him to win.

And for that to happen Floyd will need to change his mindset and go on the attack.
