Huck is not a flashy boxer but he has that Maidana thing going on where he hits guys incredibly hard from bad angles. Nobody would get any enjoyment out of watching this unless they passionately hate Roy and want to see him suffer.

I get where your coming from, but for Roy, there is nothing he can do at this point to bolster his career. For 10-15 years he was the unquestioned pound for pound king and by faaaaaaaaar the best boxer in the game. He dominated everyone. Could beat anyone any way you wanted. Even if he could beat Huck...it wouldn't matter because of how high he once was.

For me Roy's legacy is the "the most dominant fighter ever" "the best fighter ever" "the most unbeatable fighter ever" "the most gifted fighter ever". Beating Huck won't add to that kind of legacy.

If he was Bernard Hopkins, it could add to the legacy, but we are talking about the great Roy Jones. He can't wow us on any level close to what he was doing in his first 15 years.

I thought Roy looked pretty good his last few fights, but the level competition is not that great. Roy finally seems to be fully adjusted at the weight though, as an older fighter and no longer fights as LHW with his old style which cost him a few Kos to Danny Green and Denis Lebedev.

Huck is the best Cruiserweight in the game right now. So Roy will have to fight a perfect fight to win. I know he has the ring smarts and experience to do it. But he has to stay off them ropes and let his hands go. I am hoping Roy can pull off an Ali vs Foreman type of fight. Minus the rope-a-dope on the ropes, so we will see if RJJ still got what it takes to fight at the elite level of competition if the Huck fight happens.

I'm a big fan of RJJ but this is just wishful thinking. You sound quite delusional. This version of Roy won't beat any top fighter. He's so past it it's not even funny. Huck is a big strong heavy handed world class boxer, the best CW in the world and would knock Roy out cold. I don't want to see Roy take another savage beating.
