Didn't Chris Lytle drop Big Foot Silva hard in a losing effort during a Strikeforce card?

If its the same guy I am thinking of he has a bit of pop and Roy should be careful.

I doubt it...he fought at 170 lbs. Bigfoot is something like 265 lbs.

Can still throw punches in bunches to get him out of there. I hope he wins a belt at cruiser and then finally retires.

Lytle is 40 yrs old and 2 yrs inactive. If Roy is ancient at 46 but still active what does that make Lytle? Almost ancient?

Jones has about 2 decades more wear n tear.... Lytle is old and pretty much retired but he is a step up from willie chapman and random French cruiser club fighters...

He had a string of 4-6-& a couple of 8 round fights as a boxer against fighters who went nowhere. Roy...is still Roy Jones Jr and this won't be a MMA fight. Ltyle is not someone out of Roy's league...by no means or measure.

I think your missing my point.. I'm not saying that lytle is going to beat roy just that he is a step up over the guys roy has been fighting.. This would actually "give roy some rounds"

Lytle > willie and French club fighters

This may be true...but regardless...what would a limited boxing experienced 40 yr old 2 yrs into retirement MMA guy be able to do after 4-5 rounds against a guy like Roy Jones Jr? Nothing.
