They can all kiss my ass.
McCall in 3rd is a joke for sure and the reason they took JC Gomez out is because he is serving a 2 year ban from their ranking for a failed drug test. But McCall is most likely going to serve a 1 year jail term for yet another crack offense. McCall doesnt belong in the top 15 at all yet alone the top 3.

You need to watch the HW division a little more closely. Missing from your list is Chagaev, Vidoz both are top 15 fighters.

Vidoz is the EBU champ and Chagev just came off a huge win against unbeaten Vladimir Virchis.

Agreed...I don't get to keep up with it as much as I'd like; but I'm taking steps to correct that. Once again, tell my about Vidoz and Chaegaev...who have they beaten?

The WBO and WBA rankings are just as bad as the WBC's so I will not bother posting them. The IBF has by far the better rankings to the date.

I realy think the only way to get to the bottom of the problem is to do away with sanctioning bodies altogether. Ring rankings are usually pretty good; and could be relied upon until a better system was in place.

It's up to various boxing commissions to come together and make a conscious decision not to allow a sanctioning body bout to take place under their jurisdiction. Boycotting the sanctioning bodies is the first step in solving the problem. That's not to say the two best in the world can't face each other, they would just have to choose to let their Sanctioning body Belt go. At least there'd be no sanctioning fees to pay...and it would be better to fight as a top contender for the real title than to hold onto a paper one, thus mucking up the division, IMO.

Meaningful Regional Titles is the next, IMO. Have various regional belts a fighter can compete for and work his way up into larger regional titles as he climbs the rankings until he gets to the international/global scale...then, challenge for the lineal title.

Well, at least that's how I'd fix this mess of rankings....a playoff approach, so to speak.
