As much as I lost respect for Broner for ducking Molina the first time and fighting the other Molina, I gotta still step up and give the dude credit. Though I think he was definitely trying too hard to be the bad guy, boxing does need the entertainment factor. And I still got respect for him for taking the fight with Maidana.
He stepped up his level of comp instead of crying for a PPV fight. He took a risk and I think he underestimated the power of a true Welterweight. He was use to walking down the smaller guys and soft hitting dudes. And he ran into the wrong one to try and walk down. If was a good fight still to me though.
So you gotta hold some form of respect for the dude for entertaining us and taking risky fights. I just heard him bite his tongue though. He said he didn't wanna take no tune up fights and he'd go right back at it. Then turned down John Molina to fight Carlos Molina.
He can make easy work of Molina if he box him anyway. Mickey Bey did that **** till his last round. Soon as Matthysse boxed him a little bit he finished him. So I don't see what he was scared of to take that fight then. Im not sure but was that not after Molina beat Mickey Bey and before he fought Matthysse?Comment
