  • Comments Thread For: Frank Warren on Amir Khan, Eubank-Chudinov Beef

Paul Butler is a little fellow but tonight he aims to become one of boxing's big shots. With luck and the adroit application of his blistering combination punching the mini-Merseysider from Ellesmere Port will step into the sport's history books as the first Briton in over a century to drop down a weight division and win a second world title.

They call the former IBF World Bantamweight champion who challenges South Africa's IBF World Super-Flyweight champion Zolani Tete at the Liverpool Echo Arena the Baby-Faced Assassin. With good reason.

Frank trolling Eddie....come on Frank, everyone and their dog knows Brook is by far the most lucrative fight for Khan at this point. Mayweather-Pacquiao is almost certainly gonna lead to a lucrative September rematch, freezing Khan out of the picture once again - and making him, for the third time, the butt of the joke the world over....he will make several million pounds for a showdown with Brook, far exceeding his career high payday...it'll be the biggest fight of his life and reignite a career that has, let's be honest, stalled somewhat despite his relentless self-promotion. The big fights simply haven't happened for the kid and he's in his late 20s now. No sense waiting on Mayweather or Pacquiao. He's not fighting either of them anytime soon.

Khan would be silly to wait around for anyone .... Continue his career and if Floyd\Manny wants to add his name to a contract, have them buy out his next opponent. That is the smart way to do it .... The ****** way is to sit around waiting for something that may not happen.

warren must have known in advance that the board would ask for two officials , they wouldnt spring it on you at the last minute, he used it as a tactic. He's so predictable, read the small print next time!, he probably would have wanted to sue the russians for breach of contract , but didnt have the nerve. Im guessing he could have sued for all the refunds etc etc.

True dat, and so obvious. Frank's a dinosaur. If Khan had half a brain he'd fight Kell, get the belt and force a mega fight with the winner of Pac/Mayflower. I guess it's easier to talk about how he's better than Kell rather than try his luck.

The Russians got their "neutral official" and Chudinov got battered to within an inch of his life.

            Stop crying.
