Comments Thread For: Hearn on Ward: Froch Dictates Everything in This Fight!

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Andre Ward has no intention of crossing the Atlantic for a rematch with Carl Froch, despite the British fighter holding the WBA mandate. Both men hold different versions of the WBA super middleweight title, Froch being the regular champion while Ward holds the super World belt.

Earlier in the week, Froch called on Ward to travel outside of the United States for the first time and face him at the City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest FC.

While it's potentially true, this isn't really the way to go about making a fight with someone.

No it's not, but I like it. Ward's such a delusional prima donna that it's nice to see someone come out throw it in his face. Ward has no options and everybody knows it. Hearn & Froch don't even deny their only chance of winning this fight is with it being in the UK & with Ward being rusty. I do think the rust is a big deal and give Froch a pretty good chance here.

Andre Dirrell agrees. Beating Froch in Nottingham is damn near impossible.

Like it or not, Froch is the money man between the two. There's nothing involving the business side of the sport where Ward holds the advantage. It's not fair, but unless Ward is happy to never set foot in the ring again he needs to learn this.

I thought Dirrell won, but it's not like he beat Froch anything like Ward did. Dirrell cost himself that fight.
