  • Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola To Face Curtis Harper, 3/13 in Ontario, Calif.

Heavyweight Chris Arreola is not about to let a knockout loss in his last fight or recent elbow surgery prevent him capturing championship gold.

Arreola will return to action on March 13 against Curtis Harper at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., Goossen Promotions' Tom Brown told Boxingscene.com on Wednesday afternoon.

The eight round bout will not be part of the Spike TV telecast, but highlights of the bout could be shown to accommodate the two-hour broadcast. [Click Here To Read More]

          Ranks

Say what you want about chris but he always works himself up the ranks!!

you don't see him using his name or fanbase to secure fights!!! he goes right back and works up the ranks!!!

he's on a quest, but I think the heavy weight division is getting tougher opponents, now the guys on top are pretty solid!!!

so his road to a World championship is a lot tougher now!!

Disgrace. If fury or any Brit fought harper would be slated. Arreola works way up ranks fighting bums and being Mexican. He is a disgrace for admitting in all fights he lost he wasn't in shape.

yes he does but by beating bums. he's never beaten a top 10 fighter in his career. 0 for 4. definition of overrated.

Curtis harper is ranked #30 (a bum yes) then his next fight will be a top 10 and then he will fight a 3-or2 arreola will fight 3-4 times a year if he has to, to work up the ranks, he fought 5 times in 2011 after his first title loss!!

most fighters will sit back and not work up the ranks just use their name to work up ranks!!

I think he will make it to a title fight but his real chance was against stevern cuz I don't see him beating klits or wilder.
