Comments Thread For: Thurman: I Might Run, Run Right Through Guerrero

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith 'One Time' Thurman (24-0, 21KOs) is looking to make a big impression on Saturday night, when he faces Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs) in the NBC televised main event of the debut edition of 'Premier Boxing Champions.'

In the weeks leading up to the fight, members of Guerrero's team have taunted the champion - advising everyone to be prepared for a 'running Thurman.' They believe Thurman is going to quickly jump on his bicycle when Guerrero starts applying the pressure with a high volume of incoming punches.

You are gonna run alright, run in fear of losing that 0. The Ghost is going to play rockem-sockem with your face.

Run time will stay true to his name and get on his bike. Thurman should maybe think about taking part in the Tour de France.

This is going to be an interesting match up, I watched the premier of this weekend fights on the universal channel earlier today. I could see Thurman fighting a smart fight and beating the Ghost by decision. I could also see Broner beating Molina by decision as well. I will be rooting for the Ghost and Molina to win this Saturday.

He just might run right into Guerrero's fist.

One Time is about to make the Ghost look severely amatuer.

You might run right away from guerrero's pressure style. Haha he even admits he is going to run most of the time. Guerrero can take the punches better, at the end of the day that will be the difference. Run time will pull out all the stops and emulate a prime lance armstrong on his bicycle to avoid getting mauled by the alpha guerrero

24-0 with 21 KO's vs 32-2 with 18 KO's. Thurman's the better puncher and he's the one who knocks guys out.
