Jones made crazy demands of 50 million to fight Lennox Lewis. The economics of the bout were never feasible for that purse as Lewis would have wanted something similar. Really if he kept the WBA belt he could have cherry picked a few opponents but he was always vulnerable to being ko'd badly. Even Ruiz rocked him badly in the first round of their fight.
