Sam Eggington is desperate to beat Shayne Singleton next month to set up a 'big one' on Frankie Gavin's undercard in Birmingham on May 9.
The Stourbridge boxer meets the unbeaten champion with the WBC international silver welterweight title at stake at the Ice Arena in Hull on March 7, in a fight beng shown live on Sky Sports.
Singleton secured the title 10 months ago with an easy win over Laszlo Fazekas in his hometown of Colne, but is most famous for a controversial win over Curtis Woodhouse to claim the English light-welterweight title from the former footballer in 2013.
