Oscar was trying to do exactly that, secure the fight but Cotto was leaving them hanging and was acting like a diva hoe. Cotto's own manager "the date and the venue is not an issue, MSG and the date can be both moved."

the Kikrland fight has been around for more than a 1 1/2 years so you could have still made it. Its not being submissive. It's facing the reality that Cotto potentially has a more lucrative fight. That's not a big deal.

CFCD made this about moving Floyd off May 2nd when it never should have been about that IMO. He should have been focused on getting his top fighter a chance at the lineal MW title in MSG, on the road, a win that would get him fans on the east coast and get back what he lost in the Floyd fight. But his powdery nosed fishnet wearing ass didn't see that.

Canel0 is a very flawed star fighter right now. That Floyd performance was shameful. Worse than CFCD's. Had CFCD treated this as say Duran did when he fought Moore in MSG, that would be the better play IMO.

Be Canel0's promoter, stop trying to get back at Floyd.

I don't know that the boxing public really deserves anything else since it is pretty ungrateful lot as it is, although sitting through last year some rewards are in order.

Oscar needs to make that fight happen, it is his big fight to make. He better hope Canelo wins or at the very least it is an excellent fight.

However, I like Oscar. Even if he does get caught too often with hookers and blow and fishnets. And this case, he's right! We do deserve this one. We're about to choke down a superfight for a hundred bucks that should have happened 5 years ago and, interesting as it is, probably doesn't settle much in an historic sense.

Imo, Oscar needs to don his heels, stockings and feather boa, get them both in a room sans lawyers and tell em' something like, "Look at me. In my prime, I could whup you both on the same night. Now quit being sissies and make the fight!".
