At that time, Floyd got back from hiding(he called retirement) after Cotto, Margarito, Mosley beat the **** out of each other. And he cherry pick a lightweight and lesser risk Marquez over undefeated Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Cintron, P. Williams and Joshua Clottey. A welterweight fighting a lightweight?

So basically, Floyd ignore his OWN division to fight a bloated lightweight who NEVER fought at welterweight in his entire career. And that's not enough for Floyd, he cheated Marquez on the weighin.
